Jimi is a rare born and raised Calgarian. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art, she got her feet wet in a small design studio then moved on to lead graphic designer for one of the world’s most prestigious office furniture manufacturers, overseeing the design and production of all corporate materials.

Her career then took her agency-side where she created and executed design work for a wide list of clients, from TransCanada to the Calgary Stampede, TransCanada and Cedarglen Homes.

Today, as proprietor of her own company, Jimi has worked with the Calgary Health Trust on a number of projects, from internal and external communications to event design. Other clients include MasTec Canada  and University of Calgary.

Jimi’s list of professional accolades include being the only designer in Calgary to be honored by the One Show in New York (at the time). Her work has won numerous local and national awards, which she has thus far neglected to get framed.

She has finished illustrating her first children's book, Smacksie POOPS in the Park! and is currently working on her second, The Princess and the Bear.
