Jimi is a rare born and raised Calgarian. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art, she has worked as head graphic designer for one of the world’s most prestigious office furniture manufacturers, overseeing the design and production of all corporate materials.
Her career then took her agency-side where she created and executed design work for a wide list of clients, from TransCanada to the Calgary Stampede, MasTec Canada and University of Calgary.
Today, as proprietor of her own company, Jimi has worked with the Calgary Health Trust on a number of projects, from internal and external communications to event design.
Jimi’s list of professional accolades includes being the only designer in Calgary to be honored by the One Show in New York. Her work has won numerous local and national awards, which she has thus far neglected to get framed.
She has successfully self published her first children's book, Smacksie POOPS in the Park! and is currently working on her second, The Princess and the Bear.
